Jalandhar, September 11, 2025: The Department of Physiotherapy, CT Institute of Higher Studies, successfully hosted a Two-Day International Workshop on “Spinal Manipulation Techniques – Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar & Pelvis” at the Shahpur Campus.
Dr. Christian Villella (Italy), Dr. Marta Stancari (Italy), and Dr. Chirag served as the lead instructors for the workshop, sharing their global expertise in spinal manipulation and advanced manual therapy techniques. They conducted impactful live demonstrations and interactive sessions, giving students hands-on experience with advanced physiotherapy skills.
Students from CT Group of Institutions, GNA University, Lovely Professional University, and several physiotherapy schools and colleges across the region participated in the workshop. Certificates of international achievement were awarded to all participants, offering them valuable global exposure and skill enhancement.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Sardar Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group and Chancellor, CT University, along with Campus Director Dr. Shiv Kumar, Dr. Sangram, Director Academic Operations, Dr. Seema Arora, Principal CTIHS, Dr. Arun, Head of Physiotherapy Department, Dr. Anna, Assistant Dean, and other distinguished faculty members. The event began with a green welcome, lamp lighting, and presentation of shawls of honour. Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh and Dr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group & Pro Chancellor, CT University, also interacted with the instructors and felicitated them with commemorative mementos, appreciating their collaboration and calling the initiative a “significant academic achievement.”
