CT Institute of Higher Studies (CTIHS), Department of Physiotherapy, organised an expert-led clinical demonstration focused on ventilator management, providing students with valuable hands-on exposure to critical care practices.
Jalandhar, February 11, 2026: CT Institute of Higher Studies (CTIHS), Department of Physiotherapy, organised an expert-led clinical demonstration focused on ventilator management, providing students with valuable hands-on exposure to critical care practices.
The session was spearheaded by Dr. Mandeep Singh, Consultant and Head of the Emergency Medicine Department at Fortis Hospital, Jalandhar. Dr. Mandeep holds an MBBS, a Diploma in Emergency Medicine, Membership in the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, and a Fellowship in Aviation Medicine. With his extensive clinical expertise, he delivered an insightful and practical session on ventilator management techniques and emergency response protocols.
The event commenced with a formal welcome by Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman of CT Group and Chancellor of CT University, who felicitated Dr. Mandeep Singh with a token of appreciation. The occasion was also graced by Dr. Nitin Tandon, Executive Director and Vice-Chancellor of CT University; Dr. Shiv Kumar, Director, Shahpur Campus; Dr. Seema Arora, Principal, CTIHS; and Dr. Arun, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy.
During the session, students witnessed a detailed live demonstration using real-time ventilator equipment. The interactive format allowed participants to strengthen their clinical understanding, clarify practical doubts, and gain deeper insights into patient management under expert supervision.
This academic initiative, organised in collaboration with Fortis Hospital, Jalandhar, reflects CT Group’s continued commitment to experiential learning and industry-academia integration, ensuring students are equipped with advanced clinical competencies and professional readiness.
