CT Group Organizes 14th Sardarni Manjit Kaur Memorial Annual Athletics Meet
CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus, successfully hosted the 14th Sardarni Manjit Kaur Memorial Annual Athletics Meet, a spectacular celebration of sportsmanship, endurance, and competitive spirit. The event commenced with a grand NCC parade and a disciplined march past by all participating institutions, setting the stage for an electrifying day of athletic excellence. The torch-lighting ceremony and the solemn oath-taking added to the fervor, symbolizing the dedication of the athletes toward fair play and perseverance.

Sh. Inderbir Singh, IPS, DIG, PAP Punjab, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, inspiring the participants with his encouraging words on the significance of sports in fostering leadership, teamwork, and resilience. Various athletic events, including 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1500m races, along with long jump, discus throw, shot put, relays, and tug-of-war, witnessed thrilling performances from the competitors. The crowd cheered as athletes gave their best, demonstrating incredible speed, strength, and stamina.
CT Institute of Engineering, Management, and Technology (CTIEMT) emerged as the overall champions, while CT Institute of Management and Technology (CTIMT) secured the runner-up position. Krish, a student of BTTM 2nd Semester from CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM), was awarded Best Athlete Male, while Spiwe from BBA 4th Semester at CTIMT claimed the Best Athlete Female title.
The event was graced by the presence of Vice Chairman of CT Group, Harpreet Singh, Officiating Campus Director Dr. Sangram Singh, Dean Student Welfare Dr. Arjan Singh, and other distinguished heads of institutions. Their unwavering support and commitment to sports and physical fitness contributed significantly to the success of the event.
