CT Group organises event ‘The Great Jalandhar cook off’ with Phulkari Women of Jalandhar

Jalandhar, November 10, 2022: CT Group of institutions organized the event The Great Jalandhar cook-off with Phulkari Women of Jalandhar. The ladies worked hard in the professional kitchen of CT Institute and created some really tasty, delicious, and sumptuous dishes. ‘The Great Jalandhar Cook Off’ turned out to be an exciting and fun-filled culinary contest in which the members of Phulkari WOJ showcased their talent and skill. Phulkari WOJ is also engaged in several philanthropic programs including cancer awareness, education for the less privileged, and environmental sensitization.

10 teams of 4 members each participated in the contest. The contest was judged by Nita Mehta, the legendary chef and cookbook author, and Nellu Kaura, an experienced chef and cooking judge from Ludhiana. 

The President of Phulkari, Simran Paintal thanked the judges, the participants, and the sponsors for their wholehearted support in making the event a grand success.

The famous celebrity chef and food entrepreneur Nita Mehta,” said Whenever I’m cooking or judging a contest, I always look for the nutritional value of the food since these days, food is available at the click of a phone button but nutritious food is hard to come.

Co-Managing Director of CT Group  Tanika Singh said that women are very closely connected to the kitchen and this event was to bring out their creativity and passion.
