Jalandhar, October 16, 2026: Embodying the timeless philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—One Earth, One Family, One Future—the CT Group of Institutions organized its flagship annual festival, United Bharat 2026, at its campus with great fervor and enthusiasm.
The core essence of United Bharat 2026 lay in cross-cultural learning and peer research. Students representing eleven different constituent institutes stepped out of their regional comfort zones to depict, learn, and research the diverse cultures, dances, culinary delights, and traditional attires of states other than their own. Through extensive preparation, students showcased the authentic ethos of each state via captivating cultural walks, vibrant folk dance performances, and traditional food stalls.
The occasion was graced by top management dignitaries, including Co-Chairperson Parminder Kaur, Joint Mnaging Director Tanika Channi, Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, and Director Campus Dr. Jayaashish Sethi. Commending the students for their extraordinary dedication and research, Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh emphasized that United Bharat is not merely a cultural festival, but a transformative educational platform. He noted that by immersing themselves in the heritage, culinary nuances, and art forms of different states, the youth truly internalize the spirit of national unity, mutual respect, and harmony across geographical boundaries.
Organized under the leadership and guidance of Dr. Divoy Chhabra, Principal of the CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM), the grand event celebrated India’s rich cultural tapestry, culinary traditions, and heritage through a unique immersive learning format.
The competitive presentations took the audience on a seamless journey across India’s geographical diversity. Students of CTPC brought alive the Maratha pride of Maharashtra through energetic Lavani moves, traditional Nauvari sarees, and spiced culinary delicacies like Puran Poli and Misal Pav. CTCP recreated the royal desert heritage of Rajasthan, showcasing Ghoomar dance and Dal Baati Churma. CTIHM represented the North-Eastern charm of Assam through Bihu rhythms and bamboo-infused cuisine, while CTIHS celebrated the tribal heritage and Chanderi weaves of Madhya Pradesh.
The Department of Hospitality Management paid tribute to West Bengal’s literature and Dhunuchi Naach alongside iconic sweets like Mishti Doi, whereas CTIMT brought Gujarat’s festive Navratri spirit to life with synchronized Garba routines. CTIL highlighted the tranquil coastal heritage of Kerala through Kathakali art and an authentic Sadhya feast. CTIT presented the Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb and Kathak grace of Uttar Pradesh, CTIPS captured the pristine valley culture and Rouf dance of Jammu & Kashmir, CTIAP displayed the scenic Nati dance and Pahari traditions of Himachal Pradesh, and CTIEMT honored Bihar’s ancient educational legacy, Madhubani art, and traditional Litti Chokha.
Following an intense evaluation based on historical accuracy, performance sync, presentation, and taste authenticity, the joint first prize for United Bharat 2026 was awarded to CT College of Pharmacy (CTCP) representing Rajasthan and CT Institute of Law (CTIL) representing Kerala. The CT Institute of Management and Technology (CTIMT), representing Gujarat, secured the Runner-Up trophy, concluding a day dedicated to national unity, learning, and cultural pride.
