CT Group and Sankara Eye Hospital conducts 50 free cataract surgeries

Jalandhar, July 29, 2022: CT Group of Institutions, South Campus, Shahpur under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in association with Sankara Eye Hospital, Ludhiana held a free eye screening camp in which more than 400 locals from nearby villages etc participated two days back at Shahpur Campus. Out of these, 50 patients were selected for free cataract surgeries.
These 50 surgeries are successfully conducted by the team of doctors at Sankara Eye Hospital, Ludhiana.

This was the 3rd free cataract surgery camp since 2021 by CT Group towards its aim to provide community eye care to masses. 
CT Group Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh and Ravinder Pal Chawla, Unit Head from Sankara Eye Hospital said, “This initiative was a part of a joint longstanding commitment to each other and we will be conducting similar camps etc in future too to have 100 cataract backlog free villages by December 2022.”
