A vibrant cultural programme was organised on the occasion, in which students from Playway to Class 8, along with teachers, participated enthusiastically.

Chandigarh: CRB Public School, Sector 7-B, Chandigarh, celebrated the auspicious festival of Janmashtami with great zeal and devotion in the school premises. A vibrant cultural programme was organised on the occasion, in which students from Playway to Class 8, along with teachers, participated enthusiastically.

The celebration commenced with enchanting tableaux depicting the life of Lord Krishna, filling the entire campus with a devotional atmosphere. Dressed as Krishna and Radha in colourful attire with flutes, peacock feathers, and crowns, the little ones stole everyone’s hearts. Students also participated in engaging activities such as Matki Making, Flute Making, and Crown Making.

Students of Classes 1 and 2 recited devotional poems and sang melodious bhajans dedicated to Lord Krishna, while performances from Classes 1 to 8 brought Krishna Leela alive through graceful dance presentations. The lively performances added a festive charm to the occasion.

School Principal Sangeeta Mittal and Director Naveen Kumar Mittal extended warm Janmashtami greetings and encouraged students to draw inspiration from the life of Lord Krishna. The event concluded with the distribution of makhan-mishri and fruits as prasad to all students.

The celebration proved to be a meaningful effort in connecting students with their rich cultural heritage and traditions.
