Claimants dissatisfied with Revising Authority orders for Sampla Municipal Committee elections may file appeal by March 16: DC Sachin Gupta
Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Sachin Gupta informed that claimants who are dissatisfied with the orders passed by the Revising Authority regarding claims and objections on the draft voter list for the proposed Sampla Municipal Committee elections 2026 may file an appeal before the Deputy Commissioner by March 16, 2026.
Rohtak, March 13, 2026: Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Sachin Gupta informed that claimants who are dissatisfied with the orders passed by the Revising Authority regarding claims and objections on the draft voter list for the proposed Sampla Municipal Committee elections 2026 may file an appeal before the Deputy Commissioner by March 16, 2026.
He said that as per the directions of the State Election Commission, the ward-wise draft voter list of Sampla Municipal Committee was published on February 28, 2026 on the district administration’s official website as well as in local newspapers. Subsequently, claims and objections regarding the draft voter lists were invited up to March 7, 2026, which were examined by the Revising Authority and disposed of on March 12, 2026.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that any claimant dissatisfied with the orders of the Revising Authority may submit an appeal before the Deputy Commissioner. He said that concerned individuals can download Annexure-D from the district administration’s official website and submit the duly filled appeal form at the Local Bodies Branch, Room No. 121, First Floor, Deputy Commissioner Office, Rohtak by 5:00 PM on March 16, 2026.
The Deputy Commissioner further said that the election process will be carried out strictly in accordance with the directions issued by the State Election Commission to ensure a fair, transparent and orderly electoral process.
