Claim Regarding Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s Photograph in Ludhiana East Voter List Is Misleading
The claim that a photograph of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh appears against voter serial number 422 in Part No. 38 of the voter list for Ludhiana East (Assembly Constituency No. 60) is misleading, according to an official information here on Sunday.

Ludhiana, October 11, 2026: The claim that a photograph of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh appears against voter serial number 422 in Part No. 38 of the voter list for Ludhiana East (Assembly Constituency No. 60) is misleading, according to an official information here on Sunday.
It has been clarified that the incorrect photograph was present in the old voter list and was also included in the draft voter list published on August 13, 2026.
The error came to light during the verification process under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and has already been corrected.
According to the concerned officials, the final voter list with the correct photograph has been prepared and will be published on October 12, 2026.
