CICU’s First Training Batch of Reverse Engineering Underway at CICU Complex
The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) has commenced its first training batch on Reverse Engineering at the CICU Complex, Ludhiana. This hands-on, industry-relevant training program is designed to equip students with the latest skills and practical knowledge in the field of product design and development.

Ludhiana, July 4, 2025: The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) has commenced its first training batch on Reverse Engineering at the CICU Complex, Ludhiana. This hands-on, industry-relevant training program is designed to equip students with the latest skills and practical knowledge in the field of product design and development.
Participants are actively gaining insights and practical exposure on: Measuring Instruments, Basics of SolidWorks (2D and 3D), Basics of Surface Modeling, 3D Scanning, Reverse Engineering of Part Design, 3D Printing, Designing a Toy as a Capstone Project.
This initiative is part of CICU’s continuous efforts to bridge the skill gap between academia and industry. The training is aimed at preparing youth for modern manufacturing practices and product innovation.
CICU President Upkar Singh Ahuja expressed his delight at the enthusiastic participation in the program and emphasized the need for skill-based learning to meet the evolving demands of the industry. He added, “Reverse Engineering is a critical skill in modern manufacturing, and through this program, CICU is empowering students to innovate, redesign, and add value to industrial growth.”
