CICU organized webinar on failure mode and effects analysis 

Ludhiana: CICU organized a Webinar on Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), which is a structured approach to discovering potential failures that may cause in functioning or performance of the Product. FMEA normally used to analyze manufacturing and assembly processes at the system, subsystem or component levels. Failure modes are the ways in which a process can fail.  It is commonly used in the automotive industry.
The Webinar was delivered by Mr. S.B Singh, Joint Secretary CICU and A lean Manufacturing Consultant and it was attended by more than 100 participants from various sectors of Industry. The feedback of the program was so overwhelming that on the basis of request of participants a comprehensive 8 to 9 hours session on FMEA has been planned to be conducted in near future.
Mr. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President and Sh. Pankaj Sharma, general Secretary, CICU emphasized on the importance of FMEA and asked all the participants to use FMEA in right spirit to ensure that samples are okayed first time in all new product developments.
