CICU Organized 7th & 8th League Matches of S.Angad Singh Memorial - 11th CICU Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament – 2025

Ludhiana, December 1, 2025: CICU organised 7th and 8th League Matches of S.Angad Singh Memorial - 11th CICU Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament on 30th November were played between the teams of Ganga Acrowools V/s T K Steels and Arora Iron & Steel Rolling Mills V/s. Ralson India Ltd. at GRD Cricket Ground, Hambran Road, Ludhiana.
 
The 7th league match toss was won by Ganga Acrowools team and they decided to bat first. They scored 176 runs in 20 overs by losing 7 wickets and T K Steels team scored 76 runs in 14.5 overs by losing 10 wickets. The match was won by Ganga Acrowools team by 100 runs. Tajinder Singh of Ganga Acrowools team took 4 wickets by giving 14 runs in 4 overs and he was declared the Man of the Match.
 
The 8th league match toss was won by Ralson India Ltd. and decided field first. Arora Iron & Steel Rolling Mills scored 97 runs in 18.4 overs by losing 10 wickets and Ralson India Ltd. team scored 87 runs in 18.2 overs by losing 10 wickets. The match was won by Arora Iron & Steel Rolling Mills with 10 runs. Bhanupartap of Arora Iron & Steel Rolling Mills took 3 wickets by giving 20 runs in 4 overs, also scored 27 runs with 3 fours and 1 six in 32 balls and he was declared the Man of the Match. 
 
Upkar Singh Ahuja President CICU welcomed the Teams and Other Cricket lovers. He further said that now cricket has become India’s national sport. Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings is proud to be hosting the 11th Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament. Playing cricket develops social skills, intellectual capacities & creativity and contributes a more disciplined attitude. He visited the ground to motivate the Teams Players to boost their morale.
 
Honey Sethi, General Secretary, CICU, a great cricket lover said that Ludhiana is full of cricket fans and a lot of enthusiasm is seen among youngsters for this tournament. Watching live sport at the cricket ground is a fun filled and awesome experience. He expressed his thanks to the team managers, players and sponsors of the tournament to make it great success.
 
Many CICU Senior members and many senior management persons of many companies visited the ground and motivated the teams. They appreciated the ground preparation and arrangements made by CICU Cricket Committee.
 
They also congratulated the winning teams i.e. Ganga Acrowools and Arora Iron & Steel Rolling Mills.
