CICU Organized 10th Mega Job Fair, Empowering Youth and Strengthening Industry Workforce- 3,150 Job Aspirants Offered Job Letters
The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) successfully organized a 10th Mega Job Fair at the CICU Complex, which witnessed an overwhelming response from job seekers and participation from over 40 reputed companies across diverse sectors.

Ludhiana, July 1, 2025: The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) successfully organized a 10th Mega Job Fair at the CICU Complex, which witnessed an overwhelming response from job seekers and participation from over 40 reputed companies across diverse sectors.
The fair was held in collaboration with the Department of Employment Bureau, Department of Skill Development, and the Department of Technical Education, showcasing a strong public-private partnership aimed at reducing the employment gap and enhancing skill-based hiring in Punjab. Sun Foundation also extended vital support in organizing the event.
More than 6000 job opportunities were offered at the fair, attracting around 5,500 candidates including students, fresh graduates, and experienced professionals. The initiative connected talent with employers across sectors such as IT, manufacturing, automotive, healthcare, and services.
In a major highlight, Tata Steel participated for the first time, underlining the growing interest of national-level enterprises in engaging with the skilled workforce of the region through CICU’s platform.
Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian graced the occasion and handed over job offer letters to selected candidates, inspiring both participants and employers.
The job fair also witnessed the gracious presence of Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur and MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu, who applauded CICU's consistent efforts in bridging the gap between industry and skilled youth. Both dignitaries appreciated the scale of the event and emphasized the importance of such initiatives for Ludhiana’s economic growth.

Job roles ranged from computer operators, office assistants, digital marketers, sales executives, technicians, machine operators, Welder, CMC Operator, Fitter and more—providing varied career paths for candidates with different skillsets.
