BJP Punjab Announces New State Office Bearers; Several Ludhiana Leaders Get Key Posts

Ludhiana, August 2, 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Punjab, on Sunday announced a major reshuffle and expansion of its state organisational team with the approval of the party’s National President, Nitin Nabin. The appointments were announced by Punjab BJP State President Kewal Singh Dhillon.
Several leaders from Ludhiana have been entrusted with key responsibilities in the new state executive.
Among other major appointments, Surjit Kumar Jyani, Rakesh Rathour, Subhash Sharma, Manjit Singh Rai, Ashwani Sekhri, Sushil Rinku, Geja Ram Valmiki, Tejinder Singh Bittu, Jasmine Sandhawalia, Ravi Karan Singh Kahlon and Ranjit Singh Gill have been appointed as State Vice Presidents.
The newly appointed State General Secretaries are as under: Anil Sarin, Rajesh Bagha, Parminder Singh Brar, Rajnish Dhiman and Jiwan Garg.
The party also named State Secretaries -Manjit Singh Manna, Mangat Rai Bansal, Rakesh Sharma, Suraj Bhardwaj, Vandana Sangwal, Meenu Sethi, Ranjam Kamra, Charanjeet Singh Brar, Kamalpreet Kaur Chaudhary, Meena Tarnaich and Ekta Nagpal.
Other key appointments include Gurdev Sharma (Debi) as State Treasurer, Sukhwinder Singh Goldy as State Co-Treasurer, Khushwant Rai Giga and Sanjeev Khanna as State Protocol Secretaries, Sukhvinder Singh Parmar as State Office Secretary, Kanwar Inderjeet Singh as State IT Convener Punjab, and Ajay Arora as State Convener, Social Media.
The BJP also announced presidents of its various morchas. Anuj Khosla has been appointed State President, Yuva Morcha, Biba Jai Inder Kaur as State President, Mahila Morcha, Lakhwinder Singh as State President, Kisan Morcha, Sheetal Angrural as State President, SC Morcha, and Shivraj Chudhary as State President, OBC Morcha.
In the media wing, S.S. Channi has been appointed Chief Spokesperson, while Vineet Joshi will serve as State Media Incharge and Pritpal Singh Baliawal as State Media Co-Incharge. Parampal Kaur Sidhu has been named State Media Co-Incharge.
Additionally, Bikramjit Singh Cheema, Harwinder Singh Sandhu, Bhanu Partap Singh and Er. Kanwarveer Singh Tohra have been appointed as State Cell Co-Coordinators.
The appointments are aimed at strengthening the BJP's organisational structure across Punjab ahead of its upcoming political programmes and outreach campaigns.
