CICU Indoor Sports Fiesta 2025 Concludes with Chess & Carrom Finals; 180 Participants Display Talent
The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) successfully concluded the Indoor Sports Fiesta 2025, featuring the much-awaited finals of Chess and Carrom Board. Over 180 participants from member industries competed with enthusiasm, showcasing their skills, focus, and sportsmanship at CICU Focal Point Complex in Muni Lal Dharam Pal Jain Board Room.

Ludhiana, August 25, 2025: The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) successfully concluded the Indoor Sports Fiesta 2025, featuring the much-awaited finals of Chess and Carrom Board. Over 180 participants from member industries competed with enthusiasm, showcasing their skills, focus, and sportsmanship at CICU Focal Point Complex in Muni Lal Dharam Pal Jain Board Room.
The event was proudly led by Gursimar Somal, Owner of Somal Refractories, as the Leading Sponsor, along with valuable support from Uniparts Group, Ashwani Goyal of Cute Cycles Pvt. Ltd., and Rohit Arora, CFO, Somal Refractories. CICU also extended thanks to Coach Piyush Manuja and International FIDE Coach & Tournament Arbitrator Mr. Gursher Singh for their expert guidance.
In the Carrom competition, the first position was secured by Md. Shafique Alam Ansari (National Player), followed by Dilip Kumar Barnwal in second place and Anshuman Aggarwal in third. In the Chess competition, Gavya Jain emerged as the winner, with Ryan Bhatt taking second place and Priyanshu Sharma securing third.
Sharing his thoughts, CICU President Upkar Singh Ahuja said, “The Fiesta has once again proven that our industrial fraternity is full of energy, discipline, and sportsmanship. It has built camaraderie, fitness awareness, and teamwork among members.”
The Indoor Sports Fiesta 2025 ended on a high note with winners being felicitated on stage and all participants applauded for their zeal, dedication, and team spirit.
