Ludhiana, December 10, 2024: The Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) Ludhiana successfully organized a Mega MSME Cluster Meet at its Regional Office Ludhiana. The event was graced by the presence of Upkar Singh Ahuja, President of CICU, as the Chief Guest. Also present were Ram Lubhaya, Vice President – CICU, and senior officials from Canara Bank, including Manoj Kumar Das, General Manager, Zonal Office Chandigarh, and Naveen Kumar AC, Regional Head, Ludhiana.

The event was attended by over 100 MSMEs, highlighting CICU’s commitment to supporting and empowering the MSME sector. The program focused on providing financial solutions and growth opportunities to MSMEs in the region.

A detailed presentation on various bank schemes and products was delivered by Mohammad Arif Iqbal Raza, Divisional Manager, MSME Sulabh Ludhiana. The presentation shed light on the tailored financial solutions available to MSMEs, including loans, working capital, and other banking services.

The event generated significant interest among MSMEs, leading to the generation of new business leads worth Rs 150 crore. This includes Rs 75 crore from MSME Sulabh Ludhiana and Rs 75 crore from MCB Ludhiana.

Speaking at the event, Upkar Singh Ahuja, President of CICU, emphasized the importance of MSMEs in driving economic growth and job creation. He highlighted CICU’s role in facilitating access to finance, technology, and market linkages for MSMEs. He also commended Canara Bank for its efforts in supporting the MSME sector.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Rituraj Kumar, Divisional Manager, Regional Office Ludhiana.
