Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri Inaugurates Sophos Center of Excellence in Cyber Security

Mohali, August 7, 2025: In a significant step to strengthen its technological ecosystem and enhance academic-industry synergy Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri, Mohali, has inaugurated the Sophos Center of Excellence in Cyber Security. This prestigious collaboration with Sophos India, a global leader in cyber security solutions, is a transformative move to foster future-ready cyber professionals.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Naveen Grover, Director, North East Sophos India, and Dinesh Sharma, Senior Territory Manager, Sophos India, whose presence highlighted the strategic importance of cyber security in shaping the digital future. Speaking on the occasion Naveen  Grover praised CGC, Jhanjeri, Mohali's proactive approach in bridging the skills gap between conventional education and industry needs.
