‘Chakkar Chavanni Ka’ to Spin in Cinemas on 6th February

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): When a new name enters Hindi cinema with passion, faith, and creative conviction, the journey itself becomes inspiring. A similar sentiment was witnessed at the grand trailer launch of the Hindi film “Chakkar Chavanni Ka”, held with great enthusiasm at IMPPA Theatre, Mumbai.
The film is produced and written by Dr. Arvind Dixit, with Rama Dixit as the co-producer. The film is directed by D. P. Singh (Dev), who earlier helmed the Hindi film Belagam. Made under the banner of Dixit Film Production, the film is as refreshing and engaging as its unique title, promising a captivating blend of comedy and intrigue.
During the trailer launch, the film’s comic flavor combined with mysterious twists drew appreciation from all present. Renowned South Indian actress Sanchi Rai graced the event as a special guest and praised the trailer wholeheartedly. Special thanks were also extended to Samar K. Mukherjee of Digi Filming, whose support played a crucial role in the making of the film.
The film boasts a strong ensemble cast including Priom Gujjar, Janhvi Chauhan, Zahid M. Shah, Sunita Chauhan, Ramesh Goyal, Deepu Srivastava, Raj Malhotra, Anjum Khan, Naveen Stephen, and Rinku Rangila. Comedian Deepu Srivastava added a lively touch to the event with his on-stage humor, while curiosity around his role in the film was clearly evident.
On the technical front, the film features cinematography by Akram Khan, editing by Mohammad Sohail, music composed by J.K. Aazmi and P. Max, background score by Priyaraaj Mandal, and DI by Ashok Verma. The film’s dialogues stand out for their philosophical depth, especially the line —“God craves devotion, not offerings.”

Sharing his experience, producer Dr. Arvind Dixit said this film marks his first step into the world of cinema. Despite being a college principal and a professor of Hindi literature, he dared to pursue filmmaking amid limited resources and challenging circumstances. The film’s shoot began on 11th September in the scorching heat of Rajasthan, and the dedication of the entire team made the journey memorable. Director D. P. Singh (Dev) expressed gratitude for the creative freedom granted by the producer and credited teamwork as the backbone of the film’s completion.
“Chakkar Chavanni Ka” is a unique cinematic experience that seamlessly blends humor, mystery, and emotions. The film is set to release in theatres on 6th February.
Notably, scripts of Dr. Arvind Dixit’s upcoming films — Dhanya Dhenu, Palak Putli, Dhaiya, and Bhola — are already completed, with the shooting of Dhanya Dhenu scheduled to begin in March 2026.
