CGC University Mohali Pays a Grand Tribute to the Nation’s Brave Soldiers on Army Day 2026

The impactful event was organised by the NCC Wing of the University with the objective of instilling discipline, leadership, and a sense of national service among the youth.
Mohali, January 17, 2026: CGC University Mohali commemorated Army Day 2026 with immense pride, patriotism, and reverence, paying homage to the indomitable spirit and supreme sacrifices of the Indian Army. The impactful event was organised by the NCC Wing of the University with the objective of instilling discipline, leadership, and a sense of national service among the youth.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Lieutenant General Kamaljit Singh (Retd.), Former Army Commander, Advisor to the Chief Minister, and State Information Commissioner, who attended the event as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, Lt. Gen. Kamaljit Singh shared valuable insights into the core values of the Indian Army—bravery, integrity, and selfless service. He motivated NCC cadets and students to adopt discipline and responsibility, emphasizing the vital role of youth in safeguarding the nation’s future.
Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director Arsh Dhaliwal lauded the courage and dedication of the Indian Army and stated that the nation takes immense pride in its soldiers who protect the country under the most challenging circumstances. He added that CGC University aims not only to impart academic excellence but also to nurture patriotism, discipline, and responsible citizenship among students.
During the event, NCC cadets, faculty members, and students collectively paid tribute to the brave soldiers guarding the nation’s borders.
