CGC University Mohali Organises Placement Day 2025

Mohali, December 17, 2025: CGC University, Mohali, a name synonymous with excellence in higher education and strong industry linkage, celebrated Placement Day 2025 with great enthusiasm. The event proved to be a historic milestone for the Batch of 2026, showcasing students’ dedication, discipline, and future-ready mindset that translated into outstanding career outcomes. Several students secured prestigious job offers even before completing their academic programs.

During the 2026 placement season, CGC University recorded a total of 1,816 placement offers, marking a significant rise from 1,482 offers in 2025 and 864 offers in 2024. This consistent growth reflects increasing industry trust and the university’s expanding reputation.

The biggest highlight of Placement Day 2025 was the highest-ever annual package of ₹1 Crore, continuing the record achieved in 2025. Compared to the ₹53 lakh package in 2024, this marks an impressive growth of over 105%, underscoring CGC University’s strong focus on employability, skill development, and professional excellence.

For the Batch of 2026, the average annual package stood at ₹6.85 lakh, higher than ₹6.65 lakh in 2025 and ₹6.2 lakh in 2024. Over 1,500 recruiters participated in the 2026 placement drive, compared to 1,200+ in 2025 and 650+ in 2024, highlighting CGC University’s strengthening national and international presence.

Leading multinational companies such as Capgemini, ServiceNow, Coforge, Nokia, WNS, and Afsos, among others, took part in the recruitment process. Students received attractive offers in high-growth domains including Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Business Analytics, FinTech, and Advanced Engineering.

During the ceremony, students demonstrating exceptional academic excellence, leadership qualities, and professional competence were specially honoured. These recognitions reinforce CGC University’s commitment to nurturing not just employable graduates, but visionary leaders.
