CATC-40 NCC Camp Concludes at CT Group of Institutes, Shahpur
The Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-40), organized under the aegis of the 2 PB NCC Battalion, successfully concluded today at the CT Group of Institutes, Shahpur. The 10-day intensive camp, which ran from 6 to 15 July, brought together 600 cadets from various educational institutions across the region to undergo rigorous training and character-building activities.
Jalandhar, July 15, 2026: The Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-40), organized under the aegis of the 2 PB NCC Battalion, successfully concluded today at the CT Group of Institutes, Shahpur. The 10-day intensive camp, which ran from 6 to 15 July, brought together 600 cadets from various educational institutions across the region to undergo rigorous training and character-building activities.
The closing ceremony was presided over by Commanding Officer Col. N. S. Cheema, who served as the Chief Guest. In his address to the cadets, Col. Cheema emphasized the core ethics and values of the NCC, urging the participants to carry forward the discipline, leadership skills, and sense of national duty instilled in them during the camp. He highlighted that the true takeaway from this experience is not merely the technical training, but the transformation of the cadets into more responsible, resilient, and patriotic citizens ready to serve the nation.
The seamless execution of the event was made possible through dedicated logistical support arranged by Subedar Major Gulzar Singh. Col. Col. Cheema expressed sincere gratitude to the management of CT Group of Institutes for their generous support and for providing excellent infrastructure to ensure the camp's success.
The ceremony was marked by a sense of pride and accomplishment, attended by Col. Dalbir Singh, Administrative Officer, along with other esteemed Army officials and six Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) representing their respective educational institutions. The camp concluded with the distribution of prizes for the various competitions, leaving the cadets with lasting memories and a renewed commitment to the NCC motto of Unity and Discipline.
