Career counselling session organized for class X students at Innocent Hearts

Jalandhar, February 18, 2022: A career counselling session for class X was organized at Innocent Hearts under the 'Disha-Ek Initiative' run by the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, in which the children showed their interest.  In this counselling session, Dr. Dheeraj Banati and Prof.  Rahul Jain made the students aware of the four streams (medical, non-medical, commerce, humanities) and skill courses.  Prof.  Mr. Rahul Jain (Deputy Director Schools and Colleges) guided the students about apt streams required for their career building in their choicest profession.  He said that the students should choose the relevant stream with great gravity and focus without any pressure.   Dr. Dheeraj Banati (Deputy Director Expansion, Affiliation, Planning, Implementation, CSR) enlightened the students about Vocational Skills courses.  He gave information about career planning to the students through the Six Steps, using the acronym 'SPRINT'.  He asked the students to bring forward their passion so that they can get more chances of getting success.  He gave information about the Skill India Movement ascertained in the New Education Policy.  He encouraged the students to choose such fields as per their aptitude, and their goals, which will help in their career-building.
