Cambridge Girls Shine in Kho Kho District Championship

Jalandhar, April 28, 2017: Cambridge believes in holistic development of its young learners .Sports is an integral part of education in Cambridge Schools as education is incomplete without Sports. Beyond the obvious health and activity benefits, sports also teaches the students discipline and teamwork.
The Girls team of Cambridge International School , Jalandhar have made a mark in the District Level Women’s Kho Kho Championship which was organized by CT Institute . It was held at CT Institute, Maqsudan Road on April 25 & April 26, 2017. Near about twelve teams participated in the tournament with great zeal and vigor. Our team clinched the Runner – Up and won a cash prize of Rs. 3100.
The training and the efforts put in by Sports Department was lauded by one and all. Participants expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their sports teachers for providing this opportunity which paved the way to their success.
On this occasion, Chairman Mr. Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Mr. Deepak Bhatia, Executive Director LWES Mr. J.K Kohli, CEO LWES Dr. Brijesh, Director LWES Mr. Nitin Kohli, Chief Education Officer LWES Ms. Deepa Dogra, Secretariat LWES Ms Geeta Mahajan , Ms. Meenu Huria, Ms Smita Verma and Director Principal Kiranjoth Dhillon congratulated the girls for bringing glory to the school and wished them luck for their brilliant future.
