Khanna (Ludhiana), August 17, 2025: Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond on Sunday urged the farmers for adopting new technologies.
Participating in the fair organized by Khattara Potato Group, the Cabinet Minister lauded the initiative and highlighted that the potato crop is highly valuable. He mentioned that farmers from various parts of Punjab attended the fair in large numbers and assured that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government is ready to provide all possible support to such initiatives aimed at diversifying crops beyond the traditional crop cycle. He emphasized that potatoes are now a key ingredient in several food items, urging farmers to actively participate in potato production.
Sond further stated that the government led by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh, is continuously working to strengthen cooperative societies.
