Khanna (Ludhiana), Oct 12, 2025: Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond on Sunday dedicated five road projects Rs 42.95 lakh in Kartar Nagar, Ward Number 17, where interlock tiles have been laid to transform the previously unpaved streets into durable, permanent pathways.
Addressing the people, Minister Sond stated that areas in Ward 17 had been ignored for the last 15-20 years by previous governments. But the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann constructed these roads with interlock tiles, ensuring lasting infrastructure improvements.
Sond stated that every lane and road in the city will be constructed one by one in the coming months. Expressing gratitude to locals for their support, he pledged tireless efforts to advance Khanna city and constituency. "The government will leave no stone unturned to fulfill the people's aspirations and ensure comprehensive progress," he affirmed.
