Ludhiana, November 10, 2025: In a move to resolve repeated traffic congestion faced by people, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian on Monday visited Jamalpur Tirkoni Park and met residents of Bhamian village and surrounding colonies.
Minister Mundian along with officials arrived at the site to assess the first-hand situation. He also held deliberations directly with residents to resolve the issue and meticulous discussions on immediate and long-term solutions, with a primary focus on widening the key access road to alleviate bottlenecks and improve traffic flow. He also asked the officials to plan out reducing the park area to give more space for wider road. He assured that the convenience and safety of citizens is our top priority.
"We will fast-track the road expansion project to ensure smoother connectivity and reduce the daily commute struggles for the people of Bhamian and nearby areas."
The Minister also inspected the on-going construction of a new water storage tank there. He reviewed progress on the project, emphasizing the need for timely completion to enhance water supply for the areas. Instructions were issued to concerned officials to expedite works while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Mundian stated that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is dedicated to prioritizing infrastructure development, with a focus on sustainable and inclusive growth.
