In a significant boost to road infrastructure, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian on Sunday laid the foundation stone for modernization work of the link road to Mundian Khurd, Mundian Khurd to National Colony, and Mundian Tibba Road at a cost of Rs 1.74 crores.
Ludhiana, February 15, 2026: In a significant boost to road infrastructure, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian on Sunday laid the foundation stone for modernization work of the link road to Mundian Khurd, Mundian Khurd to National Colony, and Mundian Tibba Road at a cost of Rs 1.74 crores.
In his address, Minister Mundian emphasized the state government's commitment to modernizing the road network under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and stated that the project will facilitate the commuters. The officials have been directed to adhere to high-quality standards and environmental guidelines.
The Minister also urged people to actively participate in the monitoring process to ensure transparency and timely execution. "This is a people-centric government, and the roads are built for the people," he added. He also detailed that the flying squads have also formed to ensure the quality of roads connecting villages and cities across the state. He further informed that this road is a long-standing demand of the people in the area, which has now been fulfilled.
