On the auspicious occasion of the New Year, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian on Thursday flagged off a state-of-the-art ambulance donated by Kotak Mahindra Bank to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Sahnewal.
Ludhiana, January 1, 2025: On the auspicious occasion of the New Year, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian on Thursday flagged off a state-of-the-art ambulance donated by Kotak Mahindra Bank to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Sahnewal.
The vehicle, provided through the bank's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds, will significantly enhance emergency healthcare services for the residents of Sahnewal and surrounding areas.
Mundian expressed gratitude to Kotak Mahindra Bank for this generous contribution. "This ambulance will serve the people in a major way, providing timely and critical medical assistance during emergencies," he stated. It will greatly strengthen the healthcare infrastructure in the constituency.
Describing that healthcare services are one of the top priorities of Bhagwant Singh Mann government, the Minister added that more Aam Aadmi Clinics will be dedicated to the people of Punjab this year besides the infrastructure in the government health institutions is also being strengthened on a large scale to ensure people get ultra modern facilities there.
The Minister further announced that the state government will soon launch Health Insurance scheme in which people can avail cashless treatment up to Rs 10 lakh in both government and private hospitals. He emphasized that the government is committed to the welfare of every section of society and will leave no stone unturned in this noble cause.
