Budding KMV Innovators among Top 30 achievers of Ideation-2023 (Inter-Institutional Idea Competition)

Jalandhar, February 11, 2023: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage and Autonomous Institution Jalandhar Students participated in the Ideathon (Inter-Institutional Idea Competition(IIIC'23) conducted at Dr B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar.
The Competition was based on the theme ‘Providing the solution to current Real-time Problems.’ Three teams from KMV actively presented their three innovative projects in the competition and provided out of box solutions to the basic problems. The first team proposed a solution to remove the stagnated water on the roads named ‘Roadex-trellis'. It was lead by Haramanpreet Kaur (M.Sc. Physics), followed by Barjinder Kaur (M.Sc. Chemistry) &RushiChambyal (B.Sc. Hons. Physics). the second Team lead by Lavleen Saini (M.Sc. Physics) with her teammate Navneet Kaur (B.Sc. NM) come up with the idea of going touchless with touchless switches & Hand-Sanitizer that can be operated in our campus. Sandeep Kaur (M.Sc. Physics) being the leader of the 3rd Team presented an idea to make an application named ‘seg-re-create’ which will influence society to improve their waste collecting habits. Beenu Kumari (B.Sc. NM) &ShrutiKalia (B.Sc. Med) demonstrate the idea in front of Judges. Ideas were very much appreciated by prestigious Judges. Nearly 100 contestants shared their ideas. Our one team having an idea of Roadex Trellies was selected among the top 30 achievers of IDEATHON 2023.
Principal prof. Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students and lauded the efforts of Dr Neetu Verma, Dr Surbhi and Dr Narinder.
