Chandigarh, July 8, 2024: A.C. Joshi Library, Panjab University, Chandigarh in collaboration with Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER, organized a Blood Donation Camp on Monday.
The Dean Student Welfare and Chief Medical Officer, Panjab University inaugurated the same and boosted the morale of students and other persons to donate the blood. In this Camp, approx. 60 donors including 1 Divyang student donated their blood. Vishvas Foundation at Panchkula sponsored the refreshment on the occasion.
Prof. Harsh Nayyar, Director, Research & Development Cell thanked PGIMER Doctors and staff members for providing us an opportunity to serve the society through this noble cause. He also thanked all the donors and Vishvas Foundation for participating in this camp.
The University Librarian also thanked Dr. Jivesh Bansal, Deputy Librarian and other staff members of the Library for their support in organizing this Blood Donation Camp.
