BJP Organizes ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ to Mark 25 Years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Public Life – Virendra Sachdeva

Ludhiana, October 7, 2026: Under the leadership of BJP Ludhiana District President Sunil Modgil, the Bharatiya Janata Party organized a ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ to mark the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public life. BJP Punjab co-in-charge and former Delhi BJP State President Virendra Sachdeva, along with BJP Punjab State Treasurer Gurdev Sharma Debi, participated in the yatra as special guests.
On the occasion, BJP leaders and workers described Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public life as an inspiring example of dedication to national service, good governance, development and public welfare. The leaders said that Prime Minister Modi has worked to give a new direction to the country during his public life, and under his leadership, India is establishing a strong identity on the global stage.
Senior BJP leaders, district office-bearers, presidents of various party morchas and a large number of party workers participated enthusiastically in the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’. The workers appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and clean image and resolved to further strengthen efforts in the interest of public service and the nation.
BJP Burns Effigy of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann
After the yatra, BJP workers staged a strong protest against the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and burnt his effigy. BJP leaders alleged that the Punjab AAP government has failed to answer the questions being raised by the public regarding corruption and misgovernance.
BJP leaders said that the CBI action has raised serious questions regarding the alleged corruption under the AAP government. They said that the AAP government, which claims to be honest and a champion of the fight against corruption, is now facing serious questions from the people.
AAP Has Lost Its Public Support in Punjab – Sunil Modgil
Addressing the media, BJP Ludhiana District President Sunil Modgil said that the public support of the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab is rapidly declining. He said that people are disappointed with the functioning of the AAP government and that the BJP will emerge as a strong political alternative in Punjab in the coming times.
He said that the law-and-order situation in Punjab continues to remain a matter of serious concern. Incidents such as the killing of a sarpanch in Tarn Taran and attacks on the police are examples of the deteriorating law-and-order situation in the state. He alleged that the AAP government has completely failed to provide a safe environment to the people of Punjab.
Sunil Modgil said that BJP workers are continuously working among the people with a commitment to national interest, public service and good governance, and the BJP will continue its strong struggle to take Punjab towards development and a secure future.
