Jalandhar, July 3, 2019: Manoranjan Kalia Former State President and Former Minister Punjab in a Press statement said that the sparkling trait of Captain Amarinder Singh Government is that the Right Hand does not know what the Left Hand is doing and vice-versa. When Punjab Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had already decided 8 months ago i.e. on October 3,2018 to adopt and implement Ayushman Bharat Scheme to provide health insurance cover up to 5 Lac to 42 Lac families in the State, what authority has the finance department to throw spanner in its implementation. Does it mean the Finance Minister is showing his superiority over the Chief Minister ? If it is a question of paucity of funds, the Finance Department should have made prior arrangement during the period of 8 months before the launching date. Since Ayushman Bharat (Universal Health Insurance Scheme) has been started in the year 2018 by Modi Government , It is due to the dilly-dallying attitude of the Captain Amarinder Singh Govt., the people of Punjab has stood bereft of the benefits of the Aushman Bharat Scheme up till now. Thus, Captain Amarinder Singh Government has become a laughing stock in the public domain, he said.
