Bhavanites shine in KVPY 2019

Chandigarh: Four  students from the Science stream of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh have done the Tricity proud by qualifying for the prestigious Kishor Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Scholarship 2019 organised by Department of science & Technology Government of India.
 
Continuing the legacy of Bhavan Chandigarh in the competitive tests,  all class XII students, Guramrit Singh, Pushpraj Poonia. Archit Sheokand and Alankrit Kadian secured the 277th, 311th  741st and 857th rank respectively.
 
The accomplished quartet has cleared the first two rounds and passed the interview round, making it to the final list of selected candidates.
 
KVPY is an ongoing National Programme of Fellowship in Basic Sciences initiated by the Department of Science and Technology, to attract exceptionally motivated students to pursue research careers. Students who clear the KVPY are eligible for direct admission into the prestigious Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
 
Senior Principal Ms. Vineeta Arora applauded the efforts of the students and congratulated their parents on their wards’ immense achievement.
