Ludhiana West By-election is a Fight Between Arrogance and Humility: CM Bhagwant Mann

Sanjeev Arora is a Kind-Hearted Individual, He is Committed to Ludhiana West's Development: Mann
Ludhiana, June 14, 2025: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann addressed the voters of Ward Numbers 60 and 62 in Ludhiana West today, seeking support for AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora ahead of the by-election scheduled for June 19. Highlighting Arora's personality and AAP government’s achievements, Mann urged voters to elect the Aam Aadmi Party's candidate for continued development in the region.
The Chief Minister said this election is not just about today, but about shaping the future for coming generations. He stated that arrogant politicians who have disrespected the people must be shown the door, and that true public servant Sanjeev Arora should be elected by a decisive margin. Bhagwant Singh Mann assured that once elected as MLA, Sanjeev Arora will be inducted into the Punjab Cabinet as a minister.
The Chief Minister emphasized that electing Sanjeev Arora would give Ludhiana a new and strong voice in the state government. He described the election as a battle between humility and arrogance, highlighting that the AAP candidate represents simplicity and service, while the Congress candidate is known for arrogance. He said such leaders must be taught a lesson so that politics in Punjab can be cleansed and reformed.
Bhagwant Singh Mann asserted that the Congress and BJP are not even in the race, due to the overwhelming popularity of the AAP government. He highlighted his government’s achievements, including the establishment of Schools of Eminence to provide quality education, Aam Aadmi Clinics to offer accessible healthcare, and a zero-tolerance approach toward corruption. He further stated that over 54,000 government jobs have been given to youth purely on merit.
He also mentioned citizen-centric initiatives like ‘East Registry’ and simplified ‘Jamabandi’ services to benefit the public. The Chief Minister pointed out that the seat became vacant following the untimely demise of Gurpreet Gogi, who had won from Ludhiana West with a large margin in 2022. He expressed confidence that history would repeat itself and AAP would reclaim the seat with a resounding victory, pushing opposition leaders into political obscurity.
Mann urged citizens to come out in large numbers and cast their votes, stating that this is crucial for the sustainable development of Punjab in general and Ludhiana in particular. He reminded voters that the polling day is not just a holiday, but a decisive opportunity to shape the future of the next generation. The Chief Minister assured that all necessary arrangements will be made to ensure a smooth and secure voting process.
