Ludhiana, November 21, 2022: Providing basic facilities and protection of lives and property is the main objective of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann.  Taking a step forward in this direction, Local Government Minister Dr.Inderbir Singh Nijjar said that Approximately Rs.9.02 crore will be spent by Municipal Corportation Ludhiana on the modern equipment of fire brigade for safety of people and development works.

While issuing a press release in this regard, Local Government Minister, Dr.Inderbir Singh Nijjar said that about Rs 8.57 crore will be spent by the Municipal Corporation Ludhiana to provide a hydraulic platform with a working height of more than 50 meters for fire fighting and rescue operations.

 Apart from this, about  Rs.45.26 lakh will be spent by Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana on purchase of sewer inspection camera, purchase of root chain cutter and repair of JCB machines and other works.

 The Cabinet Minister said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann is making every possible efforts to provide basic facilities and protect lives and property to the people of the state so that the life of the people of the state can be made easier.

 He said that the Local Government Department has already published e-tender for these works on the Punjab Government website www.eproc.punjab.gov.in.  He also informed that if any amendment is made in these tenders, the details will be available on the same website.

 The Minister has directed the officers of the department to ensure transparency and quality in the work.
