Basant Panchmi celebrations at Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions

Jalandhar: In order to venerate Goddess Saraswati and to welcome spring season, Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions celebrated Basant Panchmi with great enthusiasm. The festival started with the worship of Goddess Saraswati. All students and faculty members offer yellow flowers to the goddess. Kite flying and flower decoration competitions were organised for students. RJ Sandy from radio City graced this occasion and interacted with students. To welcome the spring season folk dance was represented by girls of IT dept. The traditional yellow dishes were prepared by the students of all departments on this auspicious occasion. 

Group Director Dr. Shailesh Tripathi acquainted the students with the importance of this special day. He also congratulated the cultural team for organising such a wonderful event.
