Bank of India Officers’ Association Mumbai–Goa Unit Distributes Essential Grocery Kits to Over 100 Facility Staff Ahead of Foundation Day
Ahead of Bank of India’s 121st Foundation Day on September 7, the Bank of India Officers’ Association (BOIOA), Mumbai–Goa Unit, organised a grocery distribution programme for more than 100 facility staff members working at the Bank’s Head Office on September 2.
Mumbai–Goa, September 4, 2026: Ahead of Bank of India’s 121st Foundation Day on September 7, the Bank of India Officers’ Association (BOIOA), Mumbai–Goa Unit, organised a grocery distribution programme for more than 100 facility staff members working at the Bank’s Head Office on September 2.
Organised under the leadership of BOIOA Mumbai–Goa Unit President Anton Sadnaha and General Secretary Nilesh Pawar, the initiative sought to extend the spirit of the Foundation Day celebrations to members of the Bank’s extended family. Essential kits comprising grocery items, cooking oil and other daily necessities were distributed during the programme. The initiative has been undertaken annually by the BOIOA Mumbai–Goa Unit for the past five years, reflecting its continued commitment to supporting and recognising facility staff.
The programme was attended by Executive Directors P. R. Rajagopal and Subrat Kumar; Chief General Managers Vikash Krishna, Abhijit Bose, Ashok Kumar Pathak, Prafull Kumar Giri and Nitin G. Deshpande; and General Managers Ranvir Singh, Radha Kanta Hota, Nakula Behera, Rajnish Bhardwaj, Vinayak Shukla, Satish Kumar and Prabhat Kumar Sinha. The senior executives participated in the distribution of the essential kits and interacted with the facility staff present on the occasion. Through the initiative, the BOIOA Mumbai–Goa Unit reaffirmed its commitment to fostering solidarity, inclusiveness and a strong sense of belonging across Bank of India’s extended family.
