Aykai Hospital organised plantation drive on Doctors Day

Ludhiana, July 1, 2022: Marking the occasion of National Doctors day on 1st July 2022 Aykai Hospital Ludhiana organised a plantation drive with the Hospital Doctors and Medical staffs. National Doctors Day is a day Celebrates in India to honor the entire medical profession in memory of of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. The Doctors are the one who save others life without caring about themselves, they surrender themselves for building a healthy society, they are those who work with dedication and their excellence should be celebrated. 

Keeping in view the covid times when there was a huge lack of oxygen the Aykai Super Speciality health care facility took an initiative of plantation drive in which erica plants were planted. 

Dr Baldev Singh Aulakh Chief Urologist & Transplant Sugeon Aykai Hospital Ludhiana said everyone knows the benefits of planting tress, it gives you clean air, good monsoons and no global warming. Most important of all, Covid has made us realized the importance of oxygen and understood the value of protecting the environment. National Doctors Day is the perfect occasion to get all the doctors and medical staff to take pledge for the enviromental safety promotion.

Dr Aulakh further added several diseases spread due to polluted environment and lack of greenery so, being a responsible citizen it is our prime duty to save the Mother Earth.

Patients who came in OPD gave their heartfelt wishes to the Doctors and thanked them for their constant medical support.
