As normalcy resumes 7060 citizens receive benefit of various services through seva kendras in Ferozepur: DC

Ferozepur: As normalcy was limping back after the gradual lifting of the various restrictions, the footfall at all 25 Seva Kendras across the district was increasing every day with a total of 7060 citizens availed the benefit of various government services so far.
Divulging the details, Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur Mr. Kulwant Singh said that the social distancing and sanitizing norms were being followed thoroughly while dispensing these services at the Seva Kendras.
 
The deputy commissioner said that as many as 675 applicants have availed the services related to registration of birth and death. Similarly 163 applicants have sought the labour cards related services, five received marriage registration, 1077 for income certificate and border area certificate, 38 for social security, 1867 for Aadhar Card, and 3235 applicants have sought B2C related services in the district, said the deputy commissioner.
 
Mr. Kulwant Singh said that the state government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh was committed to bringing back the normalcy in the state aftermath of Covid-19 Pandemic and the lifting of the curfew and relaxations in opening up of business were some of the key initiatives that were taken by the state government.

The deputy commissioner further added that the district administration would leave no stone unturned to facilitate the people during this hour of crisis. However, the deputy commissioner categorically emphasized that the since the war against the Corona Virus was still on, it was our collective responsibility to adhere to the golden principles of social distancing, maintaining hygiene, wearing masks besides following other guidelines issued by the government. He said that only through awareness and following the government's guidelines this war against the pandemic could be won over.
