With the finale around the corner, the competition on COLORS' 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10' has spurred epic performances making the dance battle tougher week after week. As there's no room for mistakes the contestants are sparring no effort in giving their best to this show. No one knows this better than contestant Niti Taylor, who while performing the song ‘Saat Samandar Paar’, slipped and fell during a lifting routine with her choreographer partner Akash Thapa in the ’90s special weekend’. Her dance garnered wonderful compliments from judges Madhuri Dixit Nene, Terence Lewis (guest judge), and Nora Fatehi, except for the fall at the end of her performance.

Terence Lewis remarked that the contestant-choreographer duo has been giving amazing performances, but to pull off lifts the core has to be strong. Madhuri Dixit Nene asserted that the performance was energetic, but the synchronization of the moves faltered towards the climax of the performance. Hailing Niti as the black horse of the dance battle, Nora Fatehi also expressed her disappointment in the duo that has great potential. The three judges awarded her 8 out of 10, making Niti's performance the lowest-scoring one this weekend.

Taking cognizance of the judges' comments, Niti Taylor bared a well-kept secret. She shared, “As a kid, I had a hole in my heart and there are many things that I was not allowed to do including dance because it could jeopardize my health. I couldn't go to amusement parks or take flights or do anything remotely adventurous. When I recovered, I danced with joy and I've been dancing since then. I'm so happy that I'm getting to live my adventure on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. I'm super grateful.”

Earning the respect of the judges for being brave heart, Niti promised to outperform on the stage with more zest than ever in the next week’s episode. The judges marked that in a span of a month and a half, the actor’s dance mettle has improved drastically, and she emerged as one of the strongest contestants. It will be interesting to see if the dancing star makes it to the finale.
