The delegation raised the issue of further improving infrastructure in the city. The delegates highlighted that there is problem of exit and entry from Focal Point to GT Road. They said this portion of the road belongs to The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), which is through a small width under bridge where exists the problem of acute vehicular traffic jams. They raised the demand for a separate entry and exit point from GT road to Focal Point for smooth flow of vehicular traffic.

Arora assured to delegates that he would take up this issue on priority basis with the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and others concerned.

The delegates also raised the issue of rent of Rs.5200 per month proposed to be charged by Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) to power intensive units for installation of smart meter. It was requested that nominal rent should be charged only. Arora assured to take up this matter with the PSPCL authorities and the state government.

During discussion, Arora apprised the delegation that the Halwara Airport would be operational within about a couple of months.
