Army Recruitment Officer’s Motivational Session for NCC Girl Cadets

Ludhiana, June 23, 2025: As part of the Annual Training Camp (ATC-54) organized by 3 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC Ludhiana, a special session was conducted by an Army Recruitment Officer to inspire and guide the girl cadets aspiring to join the Indian Armed Forces. The camp is being held at Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana, from 17 to 26 June 2025, under the aegis of Camp Commandant Col R.S. Chauhan.
The session focused on providing crucial insights into various career opportunities available in the Indian Army, especially for women. The officer elaborated on the eligibility criteria, selection process, and preparation strategies for different Army entries such as Short Service Commission, Women Military Police, and Technical Entry schemes.
Over 400 girl cadets attended the interactive session with great enthusiasm. They were motivated by the officer’s inspiring words, real-life experiences, and the patriotic message of service to the nation. The session also included a Q&A round where cadets eagerly asked questions about physical fitness requirements, written exam preparation, and interview techniques.
Camp Commandant Col R.S. Chauhan applauded the initiative and emphasized the importance of such awareness sessions in empowering the youth, especially young women, to pursue careers in defence services. He encouraged cadets to remain focused, disciplined, and determined in their journey ahead.
This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of NCC to groom young minds into future leaders and responsible citizens of the nation.
