Ferozepur: Mayank Foundation launched Green Ferozepur Drive by celebrating April Cool Day instead of April Fool Day. This unique initiative was launched by Mayank Foundation at SBS State Technical Campus. Many saplings of trees were planted on this occasion.
Dr T S Sidhu Campus Director said that in place of making fool of others on first April, the first day of the month of April, the plantation drive will make weather cooler and give message to society to celebrate this occasion in a unique way. He also said since hot weather has started so people must place water filled bowls under trees for stray animals and birds.
On this occasion Deepak Sharma, Dr Gazal Preet Arneja, Kamal Sharma, Deepak Grover, Heera Lal, Dinesh Chauhan, Rakesh Kumar, Nirmal Singh, Sukhchain Singh and Thakur were present.
