Appointment letters handed over to 60 persons 

Ludhiana: Punjab Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu today distributed appointment letters to 60 persons, who have been appointed on different posts in Municipal Corporation Ludhiana on compassionate grounds.
      A function in this regard was held at MC Zone D office, here, in which Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu was the Chief Guest while Mayor Mr Balkar Singh Sandhu was the guest of honour. MC Councillors Mrs Mamta Ashu, Dr Jai Parkash Sharma, Mr Narinder Sharma, Mr Dilraj Singh, Mr Sunny Bhalla, Mrs Amrit Varsha Rampal, besides several others were also present on the occasion.
      While addressing the gathering, Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu said that under the Ghar Ghar Rozgar scheme of the Punjab government, several jobs are being provided to unemployed youth of the state. He also announced that all vacant posts in MC Ludhiana would be filled shortly.
       Prominent among those present on the occasion included MC Additional Commissioner Mr Rishi Pal Singh, MC Zonal Commissioners Mr Navraj Singh Brar and Mr Kulpreet Singh, besides several others.
