Apollo Proton Cancer Centre celebrates Children’s Day - “Reel Heroes meets Real Heroes”  

Chennai, November 14, 2022: Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, the first & only Proton Therapy Centre in South Asia & the Middle East, celebrates Children’s Day with the real heroes, pediatric cancer champions, and reel heroes – students from School of Media Studies, Patrician College of Arts and Science, dressed up as superheroes, and cartoon characters. The spirit of enthusiasm and excitement engulfed the room bringing smiles to the faces of young and old. 
 
The pediatric cancer warriors also met Apollo Proton Cancer Centre’s special guests, the child prodigies who have inspired many -  L G Akshaya (13), State Karate Champion & 2 Guinness Record Holder in Classical Dance from Tamil Nadu;  Ashriya Das, (12), the State Chess Champion and the 1st girl from the North East to become chess champion from Tripura; Keerthana Sriram (12) and Ms Prathana Sriram (9), who have been learning music for the past five years from KM Music Conservatory founded by A.R.Rahman Foundation.
