A.P.J. School Jalandhar Hosts Annual Sports Meet; Inspector Meena K. Pawar Inspires Young Athletes 5 Tags:
With the blessings of the Founder Chairman of A.P.J. Education, Satyapal, and under the guidance and inspiration of the present Chairperson, Sushma Paul Berlia, the Annual Sports Meet was held at A.P.J. School, Hoshiarpur Road, Jalandhar. Inspector Meena K. Pawar, In-charge, Traffic Education Cell, Jalandhar, and Powerlifting World Champion, participated in this athletics meet as the chief guest. Principal A.K. Sharma, Vice Principal Lovleen Bagga, and the entire staff welcomed her.
Jalandhar, December 1, 2025: With the blessings of the Founder Chairman of A.P.J. Education, Satyapal, and under the guidance and inspiration of the present Chairperson, Sushma Paul Berlia, the Annual Sports Meet was held at A.P.J. School, Hoshiarpur Road, Jalandhar. Inspector Meena K. Pawar, In-charge, Traffic Education Cell, Jalandhar, and Powerlifting World Champion, participated in this athletics meet as the chief guest. Principal A.K. Sharma, Vice Principal Lovleen Bagga, and the entire staff welcomed her.
The chief guest inaugurated the sports meet by hoisting the school flag and lighting the torch. On this occasion, the students were seen very excited to participate in activities different from their daily academic routine. This event was organized as a competition among the four school houses. Students represented their respective houses—Beas, Sutlej, Yamuna, and Saraswati—by showcasing their sports performances.
Competitions such as the 50m, 80m, 100m, 200m, and 400m races, long jump, shot put, etc., were conducted for senior and junior categories. For the K.G. wing, fun and attractive games were organized, such as banana race, pack-the-bag, ball picking, frog jump race, and others. The competitive spirit among the little children was heart-warming. Parents of students from K.G. to Class 5 attended the event and encouraged the participants.
Students securing first, second, and third positions were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals, respectively. At the end of the athletics meet, the chief guest, Inspector Meena K. Pawar, appreciated the sports management and the enthusiasm of the students. She said that sports should be played not only for prizes and recognition but also for physical fitness. Addressing the students, she added that if they wish, they can become excellent athletes in the future and bring glory to the nation.
Finally, the Principal of the school, A.K. Sharma, congratulated the students, their parents, and the entire staff on the successful organization of the event.
