Amity Youth Forum Online School Edition culminates at Amity University

Amity Youth Forum (AYF) 2020 Online School Edition organized by Amity university for students from class IX-XII culminated today. AYF-2020 Online School Edition was organized to creatively engage more than 8000 students from 1000 schools hosting 74 competitions in 13 categories and challenge the minds of participating students. Chief Guest for the occasion Shri Dinesh Sharma, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh along with Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Group of Institution, Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University and Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University announced the results.
Shri Dinesh Sharma blessed and motivated the student participants and also praised the social efforts undertaken by Amity University by providing food packets and helping migrant workers to reach their hometowns during the ongoing Covid crisis. Congratulating the student’s participants in AYF Online School Edition, the minister stated that such a platform will inspire students to take India forward. He also averred that the education sector has transformed due to Covid 19 and the rise of online education across the country has emerged as a great opportunity. Shri Sharma added that the government understood the need for providing access to education to students during these uncertain times and laid emphasis on the promotion of online education.
Dr. Ashok K Chauhan stated that it was a glorious day for Amity University to have a visionary leader like Shri Dinesh Sharma amidst the gathering and his presence was encouraging & inspiring for the entire staff and students. Dr. Chauhan committed to partner with the state government to make Uttar Pradesh an education hub and also congratulated the minister for his vision and measures taken for the education sector in the state.
Dr. Atul Chauhan shared that the state of Uttar Pradesh is very important for Amity as that is where Amity began it’s our schools and university that has now grown across the globe. “We have achieved is only because of motivation of leaders like you. Humanity comes first for you and I would like to ask my students to follow your example and learn to respect humanity and be humble,” averred Dr. Chauhan. 18000 students from across the world participated in AYF online 2020 school edition and Dr. Chauhan congratulated them for sharpening their skills and enriching themselves by joining these events.  
Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University shared the initiatives taken by Amity University during this lockdown and also elaborated upon the various competitions that were organised during AYF Online 2020 School Edition. The Poster Making and Art Completion organized on the theme ‘Social Consciousness: Need of the Hour saw winner emerge from St. Thomas School, Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur in the Poster making category. Poster Presentation on E-learning had student from Greater Noida World School take the top spot while the Inter School Yoga Completion had Little Angels High School Shivpuri link road, Gwalior take the first position. Srijan competition saw The Indian High School, Dubai, UAE emerge as a winner and Quizzards of Oz- “The Ecoquiz” saw Amity International School Noida bag the first position.
