Aman Jaji’s Hits Set Gurugram University Freshers Grooving
Gurugram University’s session-opening celebration turned into a lively affair as students danced to popular Haryanvi singer and actor Aman Jaji’s songs. Organised by the Faculty of Humanities and Law, the event was themed ‘Sensitivity, Society and Dialogue’ and marked a vibrant welcome for new students.

Gurugram, September 10, 2026: Gurugram University’s session-opening celebration turned into a lively affair as students danced to popular Haryanvi singer and actor Aman Jaji’s songs. Organised by the Faculty of Humanities and Law, the event was themed ‘Sensitivity, Society and Dialogue’ and marked a vibrant welcome for new students.
Jaji was the star attraction, energising the packed hall with his popular numbers and interacting with students. His performance drew loud cheers, applause and enthusiastic participation. Students also showcased their talent through a series of cultural performances.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Kaushik, who presided over the event, welcomed the newcomers and described student enthusiasm as the university’s biggest strength. He urged them to pursue academic excellence while becoming sensitive and responsible citizens.
Senior journalist Pratibimb Sharma engaged with students in an interactive session, answering their questions and highlighting the need for responsible and balanced use of social media. Jonathan Philemon Nitin Brady (Nitin RJ) also shared his views on social media and social sensitivity.
Registrar Dr Sanjay Arora motivated students through personal experiences, while Dean of the Faculty of Law and Humanities Prof. Rakesh Kumar Yogi stressed that preserving sensitivity in the age of social media was a major contemporary challenge.
