After Cricket, Anil Chaudhary Aims for a ‘Six’ on Camera 

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Mumbai’s glittering evening turned even brighter when international cricket umpire Anil Chaudhary stepped into the world of acting with the Haryanvi gangster anthem ‘Goli To Chalegi.’ Known for his sharp and fearless decisions on the cricket field, Chaudhary now impresses audiences with his confidence and commanding screen presence in front of the camera. With its bold theme, cinematic treatment, and high-octane presentation, the music video has become a talking point soon after its release.
The song is directed by fashion designer-turned-filmmaker Suman Guha, and produced by Naresh Jha under the banner of Epic Films. Powered by Diamond’s strong vocals and a stylish visual narrative, the project feels less like a conventional music video and more like a slick action short film.
Co-artists Rohit Kharb, Chandni Raut, and Hemesh Dixit add solid screen presence, strengthening the impact of the storyline. However, it is Anil Chaudhary’s confident debut that has drawn the most attention, reflecting the authority and composure he has built over years of officiating international cricket matches.
Sharing his first on-screen experience, Chaudhary said, “I wasn’t nervous in front of the camera because I often do commentary in Haryanvi. Suman Guha brought out the best in me. I’m thankful to producer Naresh Jha for giving me this opportunity. I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot. Umpiring and acting—both have their own unique excitement.”
