Ludhiana, July 19, 2025: After the successful completion of Level-1 training, the Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) organized Level-2 Training on Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal at the CICU Complex, Ludhiana.
The session focused on more advanced and practical aspects of the GeM platform including Participation in Procurement (Direct & Bid), Order Processing and Invoice Generation, New Functionalities for Sellers, and Incident Management.
The session was conducted by Deepak Sharma, a seasoned expert with over 11 years of experience across various industry sectors and deep knowledge of the GeM ecosystem. The training was an excellent opportunity for CICU members to gain in-depth knowledge about participating effectively in the Government e-Marketplace, helping them enhance business growth through public procurement.
CICU President Upkar Singh Ahuja and General Secretary Honey Sethi expressed gratitude to the faculty and all participants. They also encouraged members to take active part in CICU’s upcoming initiatives and events, which are designed to bring significant value to the industrial community.
The session was well received and marked another step forward in CICU’s ongoing efforts to empower industry stakeholders with relevant knowledge and digital tools.
